Luz (2018) - March 10, 2020 - Blu-ray Forum

I'm thrilled to see that the German horror film Luz (2018) will be released on Blu-ray on March 10th. I rented this a couple months back, and was pretty impressed by it. It's a very strange take on possession, which I found to be very mesmerizing, and hard to forget. Definitely the kind of film that benefits from watching more than once. Unfortunately, the label releasing this (Altered Innocence) has released BD-R's in the past, so it's possible this may be one too.

Mesmerizing is the perfect way to describe this film. It's my second favorite film of the year behind Bliss.

I have to say that I hated LUZ by the end, even though I wanted to love it. BLISS on the other hand, I thought was frigging fantastic!!!!

Did you contact them to confirm it's a pressed disc? I'd really like to get this release, but only if it's not burned.

Anybody know why the site review says this release has english audio? Isn't this movie in german and spanish? The review makes no mention of the language in the audio portion. It doesn't seem like using a dubbed audio track is something that altered innocence is known for doing, so if the tech specs were just mistakenly entered that would be great to know, because if this is in the wrong language I'm cancelling my order.

Dubbing would inherently change the entire film due to the awesomeness of the translating booth. I'm sure it's just a mistake.

Can’t find anywhere in the review where it says that the release has English audio. It specifies German audio and English & Spanish subtitles.

Yea like, I know what he's talking about because I got confused too. There was a remark about another language track that seems to have been removed between today and the day it was posted. Unfortunately can't say how it was worded nor do I have an image of it. I'm not interested in alternate language dubs of movies so it's irrelevant to me either way but that lil bit made me stop for a moment because I found it odd they'd produce an English dub for it.

In any case it's been fixed so all's good.

Looks like they’ve made a mistake then, wouldn’t be the first time. I also can’t see them dubbing an experimental micro-budget horror film.
