I know what they did for the blu ray is what was approved by Zulawski but I hope we get the DVD era soundtrack as an extra. All those added musical cues make the movie so much more histrionic. I really miss the opening scene where Adjani makes the face at Neil and walks away playing against the piano vs now where it’s just in silence.

And I’ll be the first to complain: please no forced French subs!

There won’t be any forced subs. LCQF’s 4Ks are English-friendly.

Considering how acclaimed and beloved this film is, I wonder if LCQF is gonna finally spring for HDR. That’s really the only thing holding them back right now (that said, The Blood Rose was absolutely stunning even without it).

I was gonna add the database listing to the OP but for some reason all the details I submitted were changed and now it incorrectly shows it’s just a BD. And now there’s also a duplicate listing that’s listed as a 1-disc 4K...sigh.

New plan of Isabelle Adjani against Christ in possession. Some beautiful finds in the negative of the movie we checked yesterday at fml. In the movie there are fields / against fields on her and the statue. No counter diving including the 2. We found 5/6 minutes of cut scenes!

Plan inédit d'Isabelle Adjani face au Christ dans POSSESSION. Quelques belles trouvailles dans les négatifs du film que nous avons vérifié hier chez VDM. Dans le film il y a des champs / contre champs sur elle et la statue. Pas de contre plongée incluant les 2.
Nous avons retrouvé 5/6 minutes de scènes coupées !

i don't know much about the label, i only saw their logo once before--is there anything to suggest they will or won't have english subs for this?

i don't think i'd even be thinking about this but the thread for parasite has put this into my mind so wondering what other people think.
