Does anyone know why the UK releases say "2 disc limited edition"?
![]() ![]() What's the point in that? Will the bonus disc get dropped in a short while? |

I certainly wouldn't want an extended cut of chapter 2! An almost three hour running time of the current theatrical version has already totally discouraged me from buying it (despite enjoying chapter one). I'm not really a fan of super long films and usually only appreciate it if it's a film such as the mighty Godfather series or the Lord of the Rings. I would have already bought chapter 2 if it had a similar running time to the first film.

There's a new thing studios have been doing lately, somebody on this very forum I believe pointed it out in the 'Skyscraper' thread which advertised 30 minutes of special features when plenty of films in the past have had hours of extras without putting it on the front cover. ![]() It's a bit weird but if it helps physical media sales flourish then I'm all for it. |

The Limited Edition 2-Disc is only on the slipcover with no mention on the sleeve itself, so I imagine the bonus disc will stop being pressed soon. Similar with disc Digital Copies back in the day.

That's what I assumed, except that the back sleeve still lists all the extras that are only on Disc 2.

The initial run of T2: Trainspotting came with a slip claiming it was a Limited Edition. Turned out the only thing that was special or limited about it was the slip itself.
As for It Chapter 2, it's entirely possibly Warners will dump the bonus disc on future pressings. I can't recall them ever doing it before, but you never know... |

As far as I can tell:
“The Summers of It” documentary (75:08) “Pennywise Lives Again” featurette (9:55) “This Meeting of the Losers’ Club Has Officially Begun” featurette (8:12) “Finding the Deadlights” featurette (6:18) have Japanese, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Chinese (x2), Korean, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Thai and Turkish subtitles, but some might be player settings dependent. I went through “This Meeting of the Losers’ Club Has Officially Begun” and the subtitles for each language are throughout. |
