While not the best movie to deserve the 4K Blu-ray treatment, at least it shows that Eagle Pictures is very supportive of the 4K Blu-ray format which is a good thing in my opinion.

Indeed it is a very good thing, though in this case, I'm not sure Universal will be too pleased, since they could have easily done their own UHD Blu-ray for virtually every other market, but chose not to. Now, with Italy the only option, Universal look silly and will lose sales.

I wasn't going to watch this, but I'm tempted now and as long as the UHD Blu-ray is English-friendly, I will more than likely buy it.

Having seen and greatly enjoyed the 3D version in the cinema, then being disappointed that Universal decided against any international or even made-on-demand 3D blu-ray release... I'm now disappointed that Eagle (who have released LOADS of crap on 3D blu-rays in Italy, including globally unique ones like The Last Emperor and tonnes of low-profile animated films) haven't taken the opportunity to grab the 3D blu-ray initiative on this one.

I might pick up the 4K if it's ever real cheap, but my main worry is that all the advertising only mentions the Italian dub track.

I didn't see this in the theatre as my local theatre only had screenings of the native dubbed version. As a 90s Adams Family fan (movies, cartoon) I'm looking forward to this!

I own a lot of Italian imports, give it some time and Amazon.it will have this in one of their promos for sure.
