Spain: Blu-ray has over 77.7% of HD players market share - Blu-ray Forum

Sony has released this data: according to GFK, a market research company, Blu-ray has 77.7% of HD players market share in Spain (end of november 2007 data).

Sony also claims they have 38.5% of that market, with the S300 and S500 players.

Also, by the end of november, over 1M movies in blu-ray format had been sold in Europe.

I think for the most part other than the US blu-ray has numbers that are almost the same as those in all other countries, but they are good to see.

Great news. I am a BIG fan of movies from Spain. Hopefully, there will be many available in Blu-ray soon.
