They need to reissue Fortress. Anybody have any idea who the current rights holder is?

Not exactly a Blu-ray, but this should interest Gordon fans:

In The Dungeonmaster (AKA Ragewar), computer programmer Paul Bradford is sucked into a fantasy world by Mestema, a demonic sorcerer in search of a worthy opponent. Meanwhile, fresh from the one-two punch of Re-Animator and From Beyond, director Stuart Gordon takes a turn toward fairytale gothic in Dolls, in which a group of strangers find themselves forced to seek shelter at the isolated home of an old toymaker and his wife, only to find that the puppets and dolls have a vicious life of their own. In Cellar Dweller, a comic book artist (Jeffrey Combs) with a penchant for the macabre takes inspiration from an ancient tome and unleashes an ancient evil. Arena presents the ultimate fight night event: man vs monster! In the far future of 4038, a short order cook becomes the first human in fifty years to compete in an intergalactic boxing event on the far side of the universe. Finally in Robot Jox, Stuart Gordon directs Empire Pictures' most ambitious movie yet, as men and women pilot giant machines in gladiatorial battle to settle international disputes over territory.

I knew it would happen, this news comes about a month after I paid through the nose for a used copy of Robot Jox. You’re welcome.

If I didn't know better, I'd say Geof Darrow illustrated the box art.

Just now snagged the VinSyn FROM BEYOND, really looking forward to that upgrade from the old Scream Factory Blu, which was pretty respectable itself.

The film historian Michael Doyle tweeted this last month:

No, the last bit does not imply that it's RE-ANIMATOR! I really do mean "details later."
I'm not sure what labels Michael has worked with in the past, though he did write an essay for Arrow's booklet of Beyond Re-Animator. That tweet suggests it probably isn't Re-Animator, even if a 4K release is likely in the works. Realistically, what else could it be? I can only think of these possibilities:

From Beyond (a UK release, say from 88 Films)
Fortress (since this is controlled by Paramount now, could Arrow acquire it?)
King of the Ants (no prior Blu-ray release in the US or UK; don't know who this is with)
Edmond (a UK release, though this seems unlikely)
Stuck (though it seems the Image release is still in print)

I don't think Full Moon are known to do booklets, so unless they've started licencing out I guess The Pit and the Pendulum and Castle Freak are unlikely.

The term "unflinching movie" seems to suggest that it will be a grim film, and I suspect that it will be Pit and the Pendulum, which is grim with some brutal torture scenes.

I hadn't heard of this picture before, but looking over the reviews, it certainly fits the bill.

Not sure if you want to note it, but Daughter Of Darkness was released on DVD in the US in multiple film packs from Echo Bridge Home Entertainment:

There are also some international DVD single releases if you want to include those as well or instead.
