Even though most of the stores are closed and free comic day has been canceled.

There are still free comics out there to get in digital format.

Multiple books are available including my book The Edge.

I got there 10 mins after opening and it was kinda crowded. Just in time, as they were handing out the free comic books.

I bought 16 comics for $20 ~ sale.

There used to be a little book store near me that did FCBD. Didn't find out until last year. They closed a few months ago.
I just shelled out almost $8 for Energon Universe on eBay after monitoring the prices for the past day. I used to have a buddy who would grab me the ones I wanted and ship them to me in past years.

Still would like to have those Ultraman Rising poster/cards but I haven't seen many listed.

i've know the owners of State of Comics in Plymouth, MI for years so i always help out on FCBD... one of the best days of the year and always really busy!

Yeah the closing of shops has been really bad.

In the 90's there were 10,000+ now there are 2000 at most.
If you let me know ahead of time next year I would be happy to grab books you need, so you do not have to pay 8 dollars. There are like 12 comic shops in the nearby area, so they should have extras left over from this year also.

Ryan will do some sales but def nothing as extravagant as FCBD
