Default screen problems

I have a projection setup in my house and i have a few ripples in my screen. The screen is a pull down 16:9 screen and does not have a tension bar on it. I am waiting to build a new screen till i get the money saved up to do it right. but until then does anyone have a suggestion on how to get the ripples out of the screen?

Thanks in advance.

yeah I'm planning on building a fixed screen and just setting it more back so the light won't put a shadow on it. but until then i just want to get rid of the few ripples in the screen.
