HBO Max plans to enter Emmy race, starting with Anna Kendrick’s ‘Love Life’

HBO has dominated the Emmy race for years. Now, sibling streamer HBO Max is looking to get into the game.

HBO Max launches on May 27 — just four days before the Television Academy’s May 31 cutoff for Emmy eligibility. But that’s still enough time for the streaming service to enter the awards race this year with two shows: Competition series “Legendary” and half-hour anthology series “Love Life.”

Just finished watching the 3 episodes currently available and really enjoyed them. The episode structure, each ep being a relationship/romantic encounter is interesting.

Sucks I cant binge it since they will do weekly episodes so I will have to get HBO Max once the season is over.

hBoMax changed the release schedule. Instead of weekly elisode releases Now they will release 3 episodes on June 4 then 4 episodes on June 11.
