Germany is releasing a special edition Digibook Blu-ray of this Brian De Palma sci-fi film from 2000.:
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Missi...lu-ray/265600/ Just watched this movie today, after experiencing 2001: A Space Odyssey in 4k. I really like this film for being different. The score is so serene, and reminds me of home ( ![]() The French disc has lots of macroblocking, although it's watchable, but could be so much better. I hope this has a better encode. I can't wait to check it out. They should release it on June.09.2020 though, as that is the start of the movie. EDIT: This Blu-ray comes with quite a few cool special features, according to amazon.de. Audio commentary by John Knoll & Hoyt Yeatman, interviews with the cast, evolution of VFX scenes, etc.. Sound promising. I just hope the transfer is good. Who has BD by this studio and how are they? What's their track record? Who else is a fan of this film?
