2 pairs of speaker cable to 1 speaker? - Blu-ray Forum

I was wondering, I'm getting a pair of CV CLS-12's and they have two inputs on them and theoretically my new Onkyo TX-SR705 will have two outputs. Is there any benefit to running two sets of cable to the speakers or is that mostly if I wanted to hook them up to two receivers?
