Here are some details about Star Wars: Squadrons, which was previously known as Project Maverick. It has a single-player campaign that is a few hours long. But the focus is on multiplayer space combat.

My experience from Battlefront 2 is that the ships handle like crap. They need to make it more accessible. Dare i say "arcadey" for fun. Like the Supremacy mode on Battlefront is simple and similar to others. You just aim and shoot. Bit of bloom and whatnot but fine. The ships control like crap though imo and if it takes longer to "get used to" it then i'm not for that. Some may say it represents a "skill gap" but to me, it's about letting it be accessible and those that are good will be bank turning, barrel rolling and doing some very fancy moves to evade you and kill. I absolutely LOVED the way planes handled in Fortnite and before that my experience was Ace Combat games and that's kinda what they reminded me of.

If they can make it so that they have a new system that would be awesome.

So Fighter Squadron & Starfighter Assault gets its own game.

That’ll make fans happy who were frustrated about these modes in BF1 & BF2 not getting any attention from the live service community.

I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone who wants the single player.

Is this intended to be a full-price release? Why not go the whole way and lean heavily on the legendary X wing game for pc that came out decades ago?

Well at this stage I don't think anyone knows what kind of game it is. I imagine it's going to be a fair bit more that starfighter from SWBF

Of course it really should have PSVR support, but that's doubtful sadly

Hopefully those are the realtime graphics playable on a PS5 and not pre-rendered stuff. I imagine this is online only.
