I donīt believe it, and I hope this isnīt true...
![]() Cīmon,... everybody knows MGS, and every Fan will buy it. No need for a Demo. I want the full completed game without any sneak peeks... |

But a demo might sell the new ps3 owners that are not too familiar with the MGS series... I hope we get a demo -- this way we can play it sooner! |

I fit this description. I have never played any of the games in the series but am very excited for this release. I can't wait for the demo.

MGS is legendary, it came before other title such as Syphon Filter, Splinter Cell, Gears of War, etc. But in term of storyline, MGS franchise beats all. It's worthy of an oscar award, if it was a movie. ![]() |

what if the Demo doesnīt look good instead of the full game version... newbie MGS players maybe wonīt buy it then... You can either make the game Demo look like "WOOOOOOOW!!!!!" or... "Hm.... thatīs it ?" |

Uhhh...demos almost always look identical when compared to the full version of the game. Graphics are completed well in advance of the release of a game or even the demo. It takes months to do QA work on a title, then certify it as gold, then get it out to the masses.
By the time the MGS4 demo is released on the PSN, the game will be in those finals stages leading up to its release in Q2. There's no reason to think it'll be anything other than a quick glimpse of the final product in all its graphical glory. There's never a good argument against releasing a demo of a game. |

As I recall every MGS game had at least one demo released for it.
MGS had 2 or 3 demos released for it showing different versions of the engine, some allowing further play. MGS2 demo was featured on zone of enders. MGS3 demo was featured on OPM. So I see it as a reasonable treand to follow, as you can say its a standard for the Series. ![]() Of course you can bring in the old "Unreal Arguement" which states that production time can be lost in the making of demo taking back to epics words on why there wasnt a ut3 demo realeased for the Playstation 3. Ah well cant wait till Feb now. |
