Like, is there any point on saying that? It's so boring and annoying and a bit of...no scratch that, a pure insult at a well built machine. It's because their jealous, they're jealous because of the success of both the PS1 and PS2 and probably the company as a whole. Also I believe that they also back the wrong horse when it comes to hi-def media and ever since HD DVD was a flop, they'll probably focus their attention on HD downloads. There has got to be somethin' wrong with these folk as: their console breaks down, it scratches discs when moved, it overheats easily, only uses DVD's for game storage, all extras come at a cost, a $60 online service and the developers complaining about the 360's limitations (i.e. core console doesn't include a hard drive, so developers don't know how to use the game to save ond stuff). Why do they do this. Why don't they just admit that the PS3 is the better machine, end of story.

I think they are jealous because they just cant afford to buy a PS3.
And XBOX live doesnt cost 60 dollars its 49 and very much worth the price.

My friend had the 20gig 360 for about a year and got the RRoD. When he sent it in, he paid $50 to be upgraded to the Elite, and got the RRoD after just 5 hours... He still prefers the 360. I guess some people are just blinded by the hype.

on the other side of the fence im sick o hearing the same thing from ps3 owners...i BOUGHT a 360 i didnt create it....its not a member of my family....its a game system plain and simple....before this i owned a ps2 and before that i owned a ps1. i went with the 360 after experiencing xboxlive at a friends house and i was blown away. i spent 50$ at some point last year, basically cheaper then a new game for 1 year of service, and i have not been dissapointed, and most the games i own have all had free map packs, add-ons etc.. released....ive played over 30 GREAT games around 50 in total. everyone i know who owns both systems either use there ps3 solely for blu's or occasionally to play warhawk or resistance. and none of them will give me a good reason to go gt a ps3 yet.....with this years release of games i might be swade into getting a ps3, but my point is when it comes to GAMES especially online the 360 has it right now, the ps3 is coming soon. also disc read errors and numerous other problems plagued my last ummm like 7 playstations, ive yet to have a problem on my 360...i know this makes me one of the lucky few but when it does crap out i have an extended warranty to fall back on.....something sony never offered me..

my point is if you live in a glass house dont throw bricks....there are many pros and cons to both systems. hidef media not a consideration with my games....and ill say i think the ps3 has way more potential then the 360 but they havnt taken advantage of it yet, namely the space a blu can store.

p.s.
funny thing is everyone including ps3 owners have told me the reason for lack of titles and really bad ports (360 version better then ps3) is that its hard to program and develop for......but thats just what ive heard.

Why do you even care what they're saying about the PS3?

PS3 is a better machine, then the Xbox 360

Personally I'm tired of both side saying the other side sucks.

The 360 in 2006 and 2007 had a strong line up of games that were awesome, but the fans while the Microsoft fans were talking it up, the consoles were probably the worst ever made. Now that the PS3 is starting to get going, this could be the year of the return of the Playstatiokn franchise.

The 360 reminds me of the Genesis and the PS3 the SNES. Sega was beating the SNES's butt for a while, then the SNES came back and evened things up.

Sorry but it not worth the price. Who wants to pay for the same quality online play as PSN. Its just another way for M$ to rape consumers for money! A JOKE!

As a long time PS fan. I own all three generation of it, and the thing that got me most is when I go out and hear people spit fuds about PS3. Things that aren't even true. Another thing is, I don't care how good the 360 is, or the Wii for that matter. I don't really care about which is better.

I'm just ticked when I hear the PS3 being look down on for it's price, no motion control, no games, no online, etc. ALL of those are fuds!

At least when PS3 fans talk about RROD and high failure rate for the 360, it's actually facts.

Every console has its flaw, but facts isn't what got me mad, it's the fuds that do.

They really are just jealous. That is all it is. We have so much more packed in our system then they do. Not to mention you are starting to see the difference in games that are on a Blu-Ray disc opposed to a DVD.

cause the owner paid for it, and is assured that his "Dreambox" was worth the price...

But now... (after the loss of hddvd and the old-gen dvd drive) it looks like they are a little pissed.

And many of them are trying to blandish the 360 with their ubercool game inventory...

Hm... how many of them would trade their 360 with a PS3 for $0...

I'm personally sick of anyone that talks smack about anything they have only heard rumors about and not dealt with directly e.g. people who've only owned a ps3 and talk smack about 360, and vice versa people who've only owned a 360 and talk smack about ps3.

How would a 360 owner not be able to afford a ps3 considering that a good chunk of 360 owners have had to buy additional consoles due to the 360's poor craftsmanship?(me being one of them)

I have both consoles and they both have their pro's and con's. I agree the ps3 is by far a superior piece of technology but as it stands right now 360 has a better online service and more big title exclusives. That's not saying that the psnetwork won't eventually surpass xbox live, which I do believe it has the potential to do and after dealing with a lot of BS from MS I hope it does.

The biggest downfall of 360 is that MS are so damn greedy that they seem to want to milk the consumer dry by constantly coming out with newer and better consoles and additional add-ons(e.g. console=$399[if you're lucky enough to only have to purchase one], HD-DVD player=$160, Wireless=$100, play&charge kit=$20 for a total of almost $700)to come anywhere near what the ps3 comes with out of the box. And the only downfall of the ps3 that I've seen so far is just the smaller selection of huge exclusive titles and the fact that the psn is still in its infancy as of now.

And all that is going to change in the coming months.....well at least for the ps3. I still think MS will continue to be greedy bastards and so I've promised myself that as soon as I beat the games I own but haven't beat yet and my live subscription runs up then I'm going to sell it all off and buy more Blu's

In the next 12 months, you'll see a helluva lot of those 360 supporters jumping ship, the same way developers are starting to realize that the 360's future is...well, dim.

I have a neighbor who is a 360 fanatic always putting down the PS3 even though he's never played any games on it. I have both systems, and 360 is a good system but the ps3 blows it out of the water with free online play, more bang for the buck, and a more streamlined interface (XMB). I just like the PS3 a lot more.
