I don't think it had been OFFICIALLY announced yet, and Amazon jumped the gun.

It's available on Prince's online store now, so it's a matter of time before Amazon puts it back up.

I love Prince (have nearly 40+ of his releases) , but I don't even know what I would do with that. However, I will probably stick with the 3CD Deluxe Version. It's a shame that they aren't releasing these DVD's separately. Is His Majesty's Pop Life: The Purple Mix Club (CD) still coming out next month?

I'm so excited for this release! I do wish they could have included the film (apparently there are rights entanglements), and there's some era-appropriate material that surfaced on the Crystal Ball set and elsewhere that should probably have been included to give a full picture of the times. But SOTT is my favorite Prince album, and I'm glad to see it finally get the deluxe treatment and upgraded sound.

I never get live tracks and always skip over them :-(

I bought the 4LP vinyl edition of Sign ‘O’ the Times and the 8-disc CD/DVD Super Deluxe edition.

Vinyl is a must for the main album, but I went for practicality with the rarities stuff, since I'll be taking the CDs on the road with me for trips and such.

Both sets are insanely nice.

One corner of my Super Deluxe Edition CD/DVD set is slightly dinged in. Normally, I wouldn't worry about it, but this box set was expensive, so I'm returning it to Amazon, and they are shipping a replacement.

My vinyl records on the 4LP set sound amazing!

I bought both verisons of the super deluxe editon. Have to have this in both Vinyl and CD formats. Though the CD format is not pratical at all. Unless you have a "Case Logics" case to put them in. I do, but I am not carrying all of my CDs that I own in a "Case Logics" case. I can't just abide by that. SO, the book has to come with me.

I got the deluxe cd set. It’s packaged a lot like the Gun N Roses Appetite box set

Between all the deluxe Metallica, soundgarden , Beatles and others.. I have a whole area full of these kinds of boxes. I love getting one out and choosing a cd and looking at whatever’s inside now and then.

According to Prince.org, there's supposed to be a deluxe Diamonds And Pearls set ala 1999/SOTT out in Nov/Dec, so I guess we'll be seeing an announcement in the near future, I'm sure the estate wanted to wait until Welcome 2 America came out, much like 1999 Deluxe didn't get announced until after Originals.

While D&P is far from my fave Prince album (not even top 15, really), I'm interested in hearing what was left off, and it will be great to get a copy on vinyl as well.

According to "insiders" on the forum, Parade will be released sometime in 2022 as Sony and Warner (who only own the four soundtrack albums now that Sony has distribution rights to the rest of the discography) will be rotating the yearly SDE's for the time being (no idea what the 2023 title will be) since a 40th Purple Rain (much more expansive than what came out in 2017) looks to be all but confirmed over there. Granted, it's all "insider" stuff (they were discussing SOTT six months prior to an official confirmation), but D&P has been talked about since early this year that we should be getting an official announcement in the near future. That and the supposed 30th U2 Achtung Baby (which according to a U2 group I belong to should be announced within the next month) make me happy I have a lot of Amazon credit saved up lol
