Hi all,
I was given a BDP300 for my birthday. I have not yet bought an HDTV (that's coming soon). In the mean time, when I connect the 300 to my 6 year old Sony 37" CRT, everything is fine until I try to play a non-Blu Ray DVD. Then, I'm getting picture roll, and/or warpage that looks amazingly similar to a VHS player with bad tracking. Sometimes the rolling stops, but the picture will be split in half with people's heads on the bottom of the screen and feet at the top. I've tried all the inputs to my tv, including standard A/V, composite video, and s-video. And, my Direct TV continues to work with zero picture roll. I've tried every combination of settings on both the tv and the 300. Any ideas? |
