Default Saw Juno, Blu or the soon to be deceased?

I just saw Juno and fuggin loved it. I wanted to know if it would have a blu-release or the soon to be dead HD. Because I dont think I want to wait till the aftermath of the inevitable death of HD, for the movie to be reanimated into the one format to rule them all.

It was Fox so it could be a blu, but not many Indie movies (if with the big release it could still be called that) get the good DVD or blu treatment.

Juno is doing very well at the box office, especially for an Indie film. It will gross over $100 million domestically. It has a 93% RT rating. Fox would be crazy not to release this on Blu-ray.

For sure. Fox has released other "Searchlight" films without a problem. I will buy it on Blu as soon as it is released, I've been looking forward to seeing it.

Haven't seen it, but my sister has seen it in theatres twice. She keeps bugging me about it, so I may have to go see it soon.

No.

I mean, other people love it, yes, but I hated it for the first hour and by the end thought it was "okay." I would never want to watch it again, but my mom will probably end up renting it and want to show it to me until I tell her that I have already seen it and don't want to a second time.
I also hated the soundtrack, but these opinions are mostly me. A select few agree with me though.

yea, Im sorry that you and your two friends disliked this movie. But it was a great film, I mean the qwerky music completely fit the qwertky film. It was amazing how they featured this young girl, who was smart cute and completely unique, and showed that no matter how smart she was caring for a child just was above her range of maturity. I love the film, as was previously stated and I think the film, most of all, shows that someone with a different vision can write and have their vision turned into cinematic gold. the chick who wrote this was a stripper only like 6 months before she wrote the script (can't be completely sure, as I can only handle oprah in 5 minute doses), but she loved movies. People who love movies are what the industry needs, not just some old a$$hole who wants to make some big bucks building computer images of robots that everyone loves, and completely a$$-raping the fundamentals that made everyone love them in the first place. So, in the end, It's ok that a small few disliked the film but a vast majority did like it. Hopefully it will get its fair share of blu-respect and be released with all the extras we deserve, as this is what the thread was created for.

What two friends? I never mentioned two friends, but if you are implying that only me and two people I know don't like the movie, then I am taking that as you trying to insult me and will say to grow up. My previous comments about the film weren't meant to offend anybody, including you; they were just my own opinion and I am free to hate any film I please without getting on anyone's nerves. If someone chooses to be offended by my words then that is their own problem, because they only bring that upon themselves.
If you just misread what I said then I recant my response to you.

My problem with the film was mostly this.
I know of no teen aged person who speaks like her. While watching the movie I was always thinking that some thirty year old wrote the dialog (which is mostly true, because Diablo Cody, the writer, is a year from being thirty), and I didn't connect with the character at all. I personally believe that someone who is as old as the writer would connect with the characters with more ease, but I know of sixteen year olds who still like the movie, maybe for different reasons than connectivity with the characters though.
I just didn't find Juno's character appealing or charismatic, instead I found her rather annoying. I did however think that the film picked up where Jennifer Garner entered because she actually spoke normally.

It is great for the creators and the viewers that a lot of the viewers did like it, and that it is in fact doing very well in theaters. I hope that it gets a good Blu-ray release also for the fans of the film; it just won't be sitting on my shelf.
