Just Think This. A Blu-ray With Greek Subtitles Only And Some Romanian,no English At All! Do You Want This Mess ? No Of Course.
O.k. Its About 51 Titles Out There With Greek Sub. But We Want To See All Titles Of Blu-ray With Greek Sub. And I Think This Isnt A Problem .its Only A Little Very Little File.and Blu-ray Its Huge. I Hope 51 Titles Go To 1000!!!!! Here In Greece The Blu-ray Disc Takes The First Place. Ps3, 51 Titles With Greek Sub. (you Must Help Us To Help Blu-ray Format),magazines With Blu-ray(only). The Hd Dvd Titles With Greek Sub. Its Only 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry Guys No Hd Dvd For Greece.hehe! Here In Greece We Say This " Help Me To Help You To Climb To The Mountain". its a shame! 2 pure Greek stories and no greek sub.
Its a crime. 300 its my history and i must hear Lionidas to speak in English,its not fear. I prefer the dvd. |

The only BD in my collection that has Greek subtitles is Bram Stoker's Dracula. (But again, I buy region A)
It is a shame that Greek subs are absent from region B BDs, however that was the case with DVDs and hopefully things will change for the best, especially since the format is becoming standard. That said, I'd rather watch a movie with no Greek subs (I want to consider myself proficient in English ![]() ![]() |

I donīt own many Blu-ray Discīs with english PCM track...
![]() (mostly only Dolby) WTF is wrong with them... ?! I have all kind of dubbed PCM languages, (even those who are not familiar in the country) ![]() Damn! Itīs just said sometimes... |

If you have a PS3, when it is upgraded to Profile 2.0, it is conceivable that studios (or 3rd parties) could publish additional subtitle languages and make them available to download.
I don't know if this can be done on already existing titles, but with a machine as flexible as the PS3 it should be possible. However, what may be holding it back is making this capability available to stand-alone players as well. We'll see. |
