Not sure what you mean by "Picture Lag", but if that is another term for lip-sync issues, then I have noticed it with my Panny BD30, but only on the trailers that ran before "3:10 to Yuma". On the main feature, lip-sync was perfect. I have not noticed any lip-sync issues on any other titles.

For reference, I only bought into Blu-ray about one month ago, titles watched with my setup include:

Bladerunner final cut
several episodes of "Planet Earth"
28 Days/Weeks Later (both movies)
Shoot 'em Up
Apocalypto

My setup:

Panny BD30 (setup with 24fps enabled)
Onkyo 605 (using HDMI, not discrete audio, with a 5.1 speaker setup)
Samsung HLT-6187s

I HAVE noticed some lip-sync issues on some of my DirecTV HD channels, most notably Science HD. So I suspect that the issues I have are the result of the HDMI connection through my receiver.

Anyone have any ideas on receiver hdmi settings that may help me with those issues???

Humm i don't think the 605 have lip synch feature. Since both are 1.3a it should be compatible with you're BluRay Player. But you're DVR need to be 1.3a to have Lipsych. If you're 605 does it, but the DVR is not 1.3a, it won't work... the AutoLipSync i mean
