I could see a 10th anniversary coming next year from Sony. Refn always promised a version with more special features, a “Queen” edition as he called it. Good to know a 4K master exists.

Just in an news article, i don't have the link unfortunately but no worries, it is coming. However, try to look on Google News, with Keywords "Drive" "4K" "Samsung" and "Plain", maybe something may appear

Unfortunately no. I just made that cover to use for a wish list pic, and as my avatar, maybe Office Kitano might see it and make it happen
It really would look great in 4K with HDR as there are so many bright outside scenes that really pop.
I am a HUGE fan of the film as this short clip I made supports that

Hah! That is great. Well done. I am big fan of Takeshi Kitano and would be thrilled to see any of his works come to UHD.

Somehow we need to get the word to the powers that be over in Japan to start releasing Kitanos films on 4K UHD. As to "Drive" I will import the 4K UHD when it comes available.

Hi

Yes we'll release DRIVE on UBD in 2021.
But we don't have a specific date yet.
