I loved all Terminator movies, I'm a huge fan. This is my ranking order anyway:

1- Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003)
2- Terminator Genisys (2015)
3- Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008-2009)
4- Terminator: Dark Fate (2019)
5- Terminator Salvation (2009)

Genisys had brilliant ideas, as well as an interesting story, I didn't like the casting at all. Especially Kyle Reese.

Rise was a great movie. Epic and exciting. The TX was a memorable villain IMHO.

The TV series was incredible. I loved it. Narrative twists, character-arcs and great special effects. Terrific work.

Dark Fate is a great movie, so underrated. It was VERY derivative, but charming nonetheless.

I loved Salvation, but it resembled a Transformers movie. Marcus Wright is a wonderful addition to the Terminator mythos.

1. Terminator Salvation - Appreciate it for daring to go beyond the present day for the whole movie, something that none of the other Terminator movies have had the balls to do.

2. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines - It's not as bad as people make it out to be. In fact, I'd say it would be fantastic if the casting of John Connor was different. It has some fantastic action sequences.

3. Terminator: Genisys - I did not like the direction it took story wise at all, nor did I like the casting of Reese or Sarah. However it had some nice elements to it, such as seeing Matt Smith in the movie as Skynet, instead of him just being left out of the movie he was rumored to be in. Kudos for him actually making it in front of the bloody camera! I also liked the classic T1 scene replication and the new spin on it, although I would've preferred Robert Patrick reprising his role as the T-1000 but de-aged. Having the T-1000 from T2 in a T1 scene would've been so awesome. Oh well. Not the best movie at all, but isn't the worst.

4. Terminator: Dark Fate - The worst entry of the franchise by far. It makes Genisys tolerable to watch which is a bloody hard thing to do! There's just so many issues with this film that I could spend hours going into it but I honestly don't want to waste my time on that turd. It sucks and that's that. The only thing I appreciate with this film is that it made me appreciate all of the other Terminator entries more.

The trend is they get worse every time. Still love the series but they just get worse. Dark Fate being the worst of all and I ask they stop now unless they make a completely new story maybe post salvation

Genisys and T3 are OK, Dark Fate is the most competently made technically but the script is just wrong, and Salvation is arguably the worst franchise movie ever made.
