The Del Toro movie was absolutely wonderful, and it bugs me that it was a flop at the box office. Just an excellent horror.

The theatrical version I saw at the cinemas was terrible. Maybe I’ll check out the extended cut one day.

I need a rewatch on the Del Toro one but I remember thinking it was just OK. I've always loved the original though.

The original, but I like the remake as well. Whannell and Gosling could make the best of the three though.
