Default I, Robot Blu-ray Release

Good evening. First off, my apologies if this has been noticed and noted in another thread, I did a quick search first.

I just watched I, Robot for the last time on DVD before trading and upgrading to Blu-Ray. It's better then I had remembered and I am excited for the Blu-Ray release.

What I noticed is: Sonny is a "blue" coloured robot (NS-5), a good guy, along with Spooner, our hero cop. The evil NS-5's are all "red". After I realized the visual differences in this film between good and evil, I thoroughly enjoyed "blue" kicking the crap out of "red".

Anybody else seeing a bigger picture here?

Awesome !!

I can't wait to see this movie on Blu. I haven't read the book by Asimov but I enjoyed the movie.

Default Casino royal - has a Blu-ray cameo

If you look closely in Casino royal when Bond sneaks into the Security office (after parking that guy's Range Rover) you will see the video equipment used are blu-ray players.

Blue has always been depicted in history and folklore as a good color (Heaven is always shown in a shade of blue) while red has always been an evil color (Hell is always shown in red)!

The Asimov book is actually a collection of short stories and the movie bears little resemblance to any of them, except for the concept of the Three Laws. However the book is a classic and you would probably enjoy it. And I enjoyed the movie as well, can't wait to get the blu-ray (never bought the DVD).

Yeah, Will Smith is awesome. I would rebuy most dvds I have with him starring in it. The only Smith movies I refuse to buy are Men In Black 2 and Wild Wild West.

Bad Boys
Bad Boys 2
Enemy of the State
I, Robot
Independence Day
Men In Black

Would rebuy all of these^^^

Haha, yeah. Red is a classic sign of evil/death/bad things in media & movies all over the place. Blue is a sign of peacefulness and good. I bet if we think about it, we could come up with undred of movies.

Remember in Star Wars when the first droid Owen & Luke bought blew up as Luke was walking it home? I seem to remember him being red in a few areas... also, R5D4 kinda treated R2D2 like a dick. But in the end, R2D2 came out on top.

Good catch I noticed it in the theater when I saw it along with Sir Richard Branson going through airport security....
