Default There's a use for paper sleeves after all. Took me a while to realize

I hate paper sleeves as liners and I had purchased some plastic sleeves so everytime I played a record, I would toss out the paper sleeve and use the plastic sleeve instead..until.. I pulled out Supertramp "Even In The Quietest moments on the A&M label. There sleeves were paper but had a plastic inner sleeve in the paper sleeve. They had the nicest sleeves of any label I came across. As a result I mimick A&M and do this..

The paper sleeves I ordered off of Amazon came last tonight so I went thru my blues collection making sure either that records that already contained plastic sleeves were thick enough to be on its own, put records that were in paper sleeves only in plastic and then paper sleeves and the records with the thin plastic sleeves that are rounded at the end are inserted into a paper sleeve.

I use Mofi Inner Sleeves for all of my records.

If you use these, then you'll never be unhappy about anything. They're amazing.

Even the non-paper sleeves that records sometimes come in aren't always dependable. They could still be considerably dirty inside, or be static hounds. No matter what, my records get cleaned and put in a Mofi sleeve.

I'm not a fan of plain paper sleeves either, but many plastic sleeves are a non-starter for me as well. The reason: most of them are a pain in the ass to put back in the jacket because they wrinkle so easily. The ones I use are Invest In Vinyl 50 Poly Lined Paper Protective LP Inner Sleeves although there are other brands that are essentially the same thing. They're the best of both worlds with the poly liners inside a really nice quality paper sleeve. You often see them as inner sleeves with classical labels because they don't scratch the shallower cuts in the vinyl you find with classical records. Deutsche Grammophon uses this type of inner sleeve exclusively for a reason. BTW, the product says the paper is ivory color, but it's really very slightly off white, not really what I would consider ivory.
