Default Scary Stuff:Asteroid (2007 TU24)

FUD..This is not
We may have a visitor .Its the size of the empire state building getting a little to close for comfort...On January 29th (2007 TU24) asteroid .
NASA has known about it for the last 3 weeks watching it very closely and it hasn't been doing what it should..Like staying away from us.Why isn't it on the news you may ask yourself...Think about it really hard.

http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/sbdb.cgi?sstr=2007%20TU24;orb=1

0.0045AU = approx 418301 miles

I think NASA knows 2007 TU24's trajectory, and they determined it would not impact. They removed it from the Impact Risks list in December.

http://neo.jpl.nasa.gov/risk/removed.html

Scroll down and you will see this asteroid removed. It's no longer considered a threat.

this sucker will be pretty damn close. It has been moving erratically for the last three weeks and NASA has know about it.If there was press coverage what do you think would be the reaction?

As you will see using graph posted in link those trajectory numbers have changed getting way closer then expected and has erratic wobble.
Jan 29/08 the distance will be 0.0045AU = approx 418301 miles.
Check it tomorrow and you will notice it get closer or maybe farther...NASA cant figure it out.Its erratic movement is not giving it a sure track which is very scary

I got a brother that works for JPL, and haven't heard one word, so apparently nobody over there is too worried about it.

Yes, it would make sense for news to tell us theres a Asteroid heading are direction and there's a slight chance it could hit us.I wounder how the public would react??
Dude if the thing had a 100% chance of hitting us Nasa wouldn't let us know..At least not till a couple hours before.
We have never had such an object so very close to are planet in recorded history...It should be on the news.
Im going to upgrade my telescope to the bad boy in link below this weekend and get some pics

I don’t imagine that a building sized asteroid would be the end of all life as we know it. I’m sure it would cause trouble and black out the sun where ever it hits. It would have to be the size of a state(or bigger) to really put an end to everything.

That being said, I’m not really worried(unless it falls on my house)
