It would appear that The Legend of the Drunken Master is no longer in print. Anyone know if there's plans for a new release anytime soon?

Miramax may reissue it through Paramount later this year.

For this movie a fantastic Blu Ray does exist and isn’t OOP. It’s from ‘Hong Kong Rescue’ under the original title Drunken Master 2. Check out their site.

Yeah y'all don't have to settle for this cut anymore

Warner got it out uncut and it's got solid enough English subs, even tho they're SDH only sadly

You can order from him, but who knows if you'll ever get it. I ordered and waited three months and nothing. Eventually had to open a claim with PayPal. Beware.

Hopefully the film rights have finally reverted to Warner Brothers and WAC can release it here. (with proper subs and not the SDH ones on the Asian release, of course.)

It is still a Miramax title here in the US and Canada.

I've learned my lesson about purchasing things from overseas. I've never received a single package sent to me from outside North America. I would also really prefer an English dub, as that's the version I'm familiar with.

That won’t always be the case tho, I’ve imported plenty of times without any issue. Depends on who you buy from. The HK release I linked above has an English dub also, but not the one with Jackie dubbing it himself

That's a real bummer to hear. My order with him on Hard Boiled was the picture of efficiency. I had no complaints about the experience whatsoever. Apparenty YMMV
