Really great show. The final episode is genuinely exhilarating.

Is this show canon or just a parody like Family Guy?

The show is canon, taking place a few years after Star Trek: Nemesis in the 24th Century. It's also a comedy show which has fun with some of the usual Trek tropes, though I wouldn't call it an outright parody.

First episode(s) started a bit slow, though by the time the season started it became one of my favorite Trek shows in a long time. The writers obviously. have a huge love of Star Trek and it shows.

Not feeling the art, I'd rather have the crew shot on the standard release.

So is this actually sold out as it never seemed to actually be live?

I enjoyed the series. Looking forward to season 2 when it comes out and will probably get this steelbook.

I feel like this show is their answer to The Orville in the sense of having comedy in a ST show.

No, not heard anything about any release for Lower Decks in the UK yet. However it’s very possible that because we only got to see the series in January that there might be a good few months to wait for a UK disc release.

I hope so, I just started watching the show and it's pretty good, I have all the other Star Treks on BR and this steely looks great, I don't want to miss out.

The release should be region free so if you want to take a chance and get it next month wow-hd are selling it and posting to the UK:-

https://www.wowhd.co.uk/star-trek-lo...e/032429354631

Worst case, if they don't play on your player, you have the steelbook and buy the standard UK release when it comes out and replace the discs.

I will keep an eye on that site.

I would want to know if it is all region though, otherwise I will have to buy twice and the plastic box version won't be much cheaper.

Not sure how good Wow HD’s packaging is for steelbooks. Never ordered a steel from them. I do know that their packaging for standard releases isn’t too great. Just luck that I’ve never had anything damaged from them.

About 2 years ago I started getting shipping notices for titles that would arrive on Friday or Saturday and the codes would work to watch the movie immediately which was awesome. Now I get it the day of release and I have to cross my fingers because my local stores have reduced their BR section. These were awesome times!
