Question Tao of Steve

Has anybody watched the Tao of Steve upconverted? I'm watching it now on my tube TV, and I can't help but think it will be amazing upconverted/Hi-Def.

Can anybody fill me in???

Thanks,

Doc.

Donal Logue is a seriously underrated actor. Anybody remember him from the old MTV commercials? ("Ya like Green Day, pally?") His stint on ER was also very memorable. I'd buy this movie on Blu, along with Blade.

I've seen it. Quite funny, the movie had a bit of a cult following.

So tell me... Are you a Stu? Or are you a Steve?

I have watched this movie upconverted and it was pretty good. I love the movie, but there really isnt much to gain in it from an hi-def standpoint.. But due to my bias on how awesome the movie is, I still enjoyed it in a new light being upconverted! There was notable difference just for reference

Just be sure to properly pronounce it as "The Dow of Steve", or you'll piss off the fanboy kids at Blockbuster. (No, really... I heard a BB employee rip into a customer for mis-pronouncing Tao.)

It is one of the most underrated comedies out there. Take my word on this one Mystik... Its worthy of a rent. I promise you that you wont be disappointed. It is awesome!

1. Eliminate your desires.

2. Do something excellent in her presence, thereby proving your sexual worthiness.

3. Retreat, for as Heidegger said, "We pursue that which retreats from us".

Thanks. Just always looked like there might be detail I can't get with my tube tv. Colors still look great in SD, though...

i will tell ya though, dont expect to be blown away, even if it ever does get to BD. You arent gonna get "pirates" quality picture or anything like that... Its just a solid comedy that deserves a solid release

It's a good movie but very hard to characterize. Of the thousands of movies I've seen I would say it's really the first romantic comedy intended primarily for men and from a male viewpoint.

Sony seriously needs to put this out on Blu Ray, like right now. I'll be the first in line to buy it, me and all three of the people who watched it.
