USA The Bionic Woman

Anyone have an idea when Universal will release all three seasons of Lindsay Wagner's The Bionic Woman in Blu ray? What's the hold-up? Thanks!

They have no plans to release it. Ever. Nor, The Six Million Dollar Man. DVD is as good as it will get unless a third-party like Kino Lorber licenses it. I think Universal did - as they did with other shows that got DVD releases - make rudimentary HD masters for HD syndication when they went back to the vaults to create clean sources for the DVD release, so it can be release, but Universal simply won't be the ones doing it.

I've been re-watching my dvds and feeling nostalgic. Super7 just announced an action figure line: https://super7.com/collections/the-bionic-woman

I purchased Jaime.

Aside from the German Blurays which are SD, where the packaging is great, it sounds like Elephant in France are potentially working on it, as they are on The Six Million Dollar Man.

I think the dvds look great. I would definitely upgrade, though.

Only the reunion tv movies + extras are in SD on the German set. The 1080p EPs are the edits shown on German tv. So, they are different from the North American versions.

Having enjoyed the German set since it's release, I'd still buy another version with complete episodes.

Hmmm... are you sure? Cause on the front it says clearly SD, why would they do that if only 5% of the content is SD? The Bionic Woman is only one of many complete SD on BD series Germany released, like Dynasty for example.
I would also buy it again. I mean, I have the Italian DVD seasons, the US first and second releases of all seasons, I think the UK ones too, all German stand alone sets (which are the best IMO, packaging wise) as well as the infamous SD on HD set.

Like I said, I own the set. Here are some links that might help you understand things better.

Default 2017 reissues?

What's the deal with the 2017 reissues of the individual seasons? Were there problems with the originals? And most importantly, does the "complete series" set (released in 2015) include the "reissue" discs?

Did some searches and couldn't find any discussions about this, only references to the reissue discs in the DVD database on this site. Any info or links talking about this would be appreciated.

Doesn’t have the acting chops.

Pun intended.

no more gal gadot, please, and lindsey was like a million times more beautiful and more likable and a better actress than gadot. she was Probably my first crush.

the series itself Id dare to say is a few points below the six million dollar man, but thanks to lindsey was watchable and at times decent fun
