Default SUPERMAN II Theatrical Blu-Ray Wal-Mart Exclusive

I'm looking to buy this Blu-Ray:

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Super...lu-ray/278405/

Anybody have the UPC for this? I want to do an inventory check online at my local Wal-Marts and need the UPC or SKU.

Or if anybody has a new or used copy they want to sell, that would be cool as well.

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Super...lu-ray/152808/ i think it was a Danish version but was region free

Didn't read the title of the thread quick enough and got really excited on the prospect of WB Archives releasing the TV cut.

Oh well guess I will have to wait a bit longer.

I, too, would love this information.

Do you want this version for the cover or just that it is the Theatrical?

You can get the UK, Aus and German discs for the Theatrical version but that cover maybe more difficult if you don't want the steelbook anthology or Batman/Superman set.

No, I don't care at all about the artwork. I have one case with custom artwork that holds/will hold all the discs with all the various versions for all 4 Christopher Reeve Superman movies.

German disc

https://www.ebay.ca/itm/234044900649

UK set that holds 1-5 and Theatrical S2.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Superman-....m46890.l49286

Maybe I am imagining the Aus set, will post if I find it.

The Aus blu ray is also part of their Anthology box, but appreciate this is not technically a separate release.

I found it kind of weird that here in the U.S. there were these Superman II (theatrical cut) and Superman III blu-rays that were Wal-Mart exclusives. I actually found a Superman III blu-ray in the $5 dump bin at Wal-Mart a couple of years ago. Was just hoping to find a Superman II (theatrical cut) blu as well without having to buy the big anthology set.

But to say Wal-Mart exclusive doesn't really mean it's all that rare as there are how many Wal-Mart stores across the U.S. (and the whole world). I just wish they listed it for order on their website. Tracking stuff down when you have an actual UPC number makes things a LOT easier.

Is it not 7509036583387? That's what you get if you click through the buy on ebay link...

The release date is listed as Apr 21, 2016 for both Superman II & III on these Walmart exclusive single discs. I'm wondering if these were discs Warner Brothers had left over from the disc pressings of the Anthology box sets and decided to sell them off through Wal-Mart. You never know.

Only Superman III and IV were released individually, Superman II never got a US release even though a mock up is on this site.

Really? A mock up? I've never known blu-ray.com to do that. Where are you getting your information from? You're telling me THIS does not exist:

This deserves a release (beyond the different regions noted). I grew up watching the theatrical cut. The Donner cut should be an extra, not a replacement. I have no interest in 3 or 4, so I never got the bigger set.

There are a bunch of titles on here that have unofficial cover art. When the individual releases came out for 3 and 4 people in the forums (including myself) were looking for it, but to my knowledge no one ever did. What went to stores with those releases was The Donner Cut. I've never seen it come up on Ebay or in a YouTube video, it seems for whatever reason they decided against putting the theatrical cut on shelves.

It's available on its own outside of the US, but I think the best chance we have for it here would be a 4K release or a bindle with the TV cut.

Any word on Warner or Warner Archive re-releasing the theatrical version? I'm thinking of getting one of the international releases. But, knowing a better remaster could be released(in theory) is holding me back.

I have the 4K/BD release of the original movie, along with the TV version. It'd be great if the theatrical and TV version on part 2 were released.
