Default The end is nigh for hd-dud

Well if retailers like wal mart, target, best buy and circut city would ban together
and dump hd-dud no amount of denial on microsofts or toshibas part would
save them. We all know blu has won but rather than give these companies face saving time before the 3rd or 4th quarter unified blu holiday if b and m retailers
dump dud it'd sink like a rock without the waiting for the transition period of
3-4 months to go by.

Somehow though if warner didn't like that idea i could see things going on
behind the scenes that would make the transition happen.

Though i didn't include amazon and other online retailers so even if b and m
retailers dumped dud tommarrow they'd still be avaible online...for awile.

Personally i'd love b / m retailers to abondon dud as it'd be the next to last nail in it's coffin.

Why is this posted here? Your rant has nothing to do with PC's, Drives, Media or Software. (Hence the name of this part or section of the forums) If you'd actually read through any of the posts in here, you'd notice that None of the threads are even close to what you're trying to say or do. Please move this to General Discussions. For the most part this is the technical side of Blu-Ray or Blu Ray on PC computers not the Bashing of HD-DVD section.

Personally I really don't care about HD-DVD their support for PC's suck but at the same time I am not going to waste my time trying to discuss reasons as to why it's bad. I'd hope that anyone over here in the PC section would know the obvious reasons.
