Default External Storage Help

Hopefully one of you all can answer this. I know you can easily transfer PS4 games to external storage, but is it just easy to transfer games back to internal storage?

I just bought a PS4 Pro, and i'd like to upgrade the hard drive to an SSD. My thought is that if its easy to move content both ways, i really only need a 500gb SSD, and i can just keep games i'm actively playing on the SSD and move them when i'm not.

Yeah it’s easy. Just go into the storage section in the settings and move whatever game you want to the console or the external storage
