Movies available on Disney+ in 4K but not on Ultra HD Blu-ray list

With more and more titles getting updated on Disney+ to support 4K Ultra HD I have decided to list all the movies available on Disney+ in 4K Ultra HD but are not currently available on Ultra HD Blu-ray anywhere in the world.

This does not include movies that have not been released on home media anywhere (eg. Artemis Fowl or The One and Only Ivan) nor does it include short films as Disney has never released any shorts on Ultra HD Blu-ray.

Most if not all of these movies are also available in 4K through digital retailers such as Apple, Google and Amazon.

In the past many titles were released in 4K first through Disney+ before later being released on Ultra HD Blu-ray, hopefully this also occurs for many of these.

I have categorized this by studio or banner, sorted it by year of release and also noted what formats it's available in on Disney+ according to the details pages. Franchises are grouped together. Movies released just prior to the launch of Ultra HD Blu-ray are grouped together. Movies released after the launch of Ultra HD Blu-ray are grouped together.

In the US, Unbreakable is on Amazon prime, not Disney+

I literally just wrote what it says on Disney+. It says both there.

I think most movies can be in 4K. I'd expect to see the majority of WDAS' feature films in 4K in a few years time.

On Apple TV 4K with developer HUD on, few of these films show up as SDR with HD bit rates although it triggers HDR mode on the TV. This happens mainly with Prada, ID4 and Die Hard 3. No matter what I try, behaviour is the same. This means either the issue is with Apple TV 4K box or something wrong with the stream.

I will check again tonight when I measure bit rates for all the ones posted in the original thread.

Devil Wears Prada, ID4 and Die Hard 3 - still showing up as SDR with HD bit rates on developer HUD.
