I don't expect this to hit Murica until the new Highlander film is ready to be released and it's not anywhere near shooting yet, as they are still coming up with some sort of idea for modernizing the concept.

More accurately the International Cut. The so called "Director's Cut" was only released in North America on laserdisc on DVD. They are similar but the Director's Cut has several audio changes including missing dialogue, and they used CGI to remove the wires during the Prize.

The International Cut is the only version to appear on Blu Ray so far.

The US Theatrical Cut was only released on VHS and LD and something close to the French Theatrical Cut made it to DVD in France.

I support your work on H2 as the theatrical cut is so different.
But this is one and done the US cut is so much worse

Agreed. In my opinion the International Cut of H1 is the best by far. I still hope that the other cuts will get an official HD+ release some day though.
