Pending Submissions

Is there a backlog on clearing these? I’ve had a few updates pending for a month.

Mine are usually approved within a day, sometimes 2-4 days. I know if you change a genre, those take longer, and if you change other stuff along with the genre, do them separate.

Now for adding new title listings, I've submitted a lot, and none have been approved in nearly a week. Just takes time with all they have to do.

It's been taking longer than it normally does. Cover uploads are also not being approved.

Funny enough, I've had multiple covers that took a while to be approved, but one I submitted earlier today took only a few hours, and it was for a DVD, and those typically take longer to be approved vs. Blu-ray covers because DVDs are lower priority. Blu-ray submissions typically are approved significantly quicker than DVDs.

Meanwhile I've got some movie submissions from two weeks ago that are still pending which is rather annoying. There are Blu-rays and a DVD for said titles that went up for pre-order two weeks ago and I don't want to add them until there is a movie ID to attach to them so there are no problems (Ex: Staff then submitting something themselves to attach to them and suddenly there's duplicate movie entries to report and delete which creates more work). Also some more Blu-rays for some of the pending titles are going to go up for pre-order either Tuesday or Wednesday.

I guess it just takes them a while sometimes. I still have stuff from all the way back to December that still haven't been approved yet.

I checked and only thing got approved, a release date correction for a DVD which I screwed up when I first submitted it. Still got multiple DVDs and movie submissions pending approval, the latter I'm much more concerned with because there's releases up for pre-order that I'd love to add, but there is not yet a movie ID to attach to them as a result.

What were the 2 changes? DVDs/BR? Digital? I do know if it's genre, those take a while. I've had some disc edits take a while too. If there's any digital submissions, I usually check those nightly and get them approved if there is any by that time.

Adding a slipcover and packaging updates on a BR release. I edited the original, the edits sat in limbo, I re edited them again on the 26th but nothing.

I wondered if it was a glitch on my account as I have noticed a couple of idiosyncratic things going on but they aren’t related to this.

I uploaded a revised front cover to the Godzilla vs. Kong 4K steelbook over a week ago and it still has not been approved. The current cover has some distortion in the top left corner.

So I'm always submitting something here and there, and it's definitely taking a bit longer than usual. I submitted a new movie on 6/20 and it's been 9 days, they've NEVER taken this long. Not complaining as this is by far THE BEST site around.

ive been contributing for 5 years now and usually within 24hrs my submissions get approved. im in my 6th day now waiting for a few aussie dvds to be approved. its by far the longest ive had to wait. wondering if the admins are ok..

A few days is typically the norm if it's not for a Blu-ray for me (and I just got a few Blu-ray contributions approved quickly), only had one other instance where something took a week and it was dealing with editing the years and formats of a few movie pages so they'd properly be recognized as TV series and not movies, and the synposis on the DVD pages could then be edited. Now other submissions, never had them take this long before. There are now 3 Blu-rays and 1 DVD up for pre-order I can't add as I'm still waiting for the movie pages to be approved. I stopped adding releases before a page was made a while ago as it's better to do.

Right you are, fixed a bug where pending submissions of new entries weren't displayed properly.

Thanks for the update. If you have time can you take a look at my pending submissions. Mine range as old as 15 months and it would be nice to have at least the really old ones completed.
