Blu-ray Player with my Onkio HT-790

New to the forum and let me say high to all first.

I am not a whiz at all of the High Def but I am looking for a Blu-Ray player mostly for movies and after reading about the audio decoding issues I wonder if someone might recommend a player for me. I have an Onkio HT-790 7.1 home theater system and I am using the fiber optic Toslink sound connection. The Onkio is a 7.1ch system but I do not know if it has the decoding that I hear all talk about in about Blu-Ray players. Is there something I should consider, please advise.

get a ps3 I know it can't bitstream some of the new codecs but its the most futureproof player on the market. I'm sure later on you'll upgrade your receiver and the ps3 will be you best bet for now.
