As someone who doesn't yet own a Switch but has been interested for some time, I think I might pick this up.

So.... this just ended up being one big pointless money grab that nobody should take advantage of, unless you have yet to buy a Switch. Basically what the Switch should of been when it first launched. No thanks. An OLED screen @ 720p? Meh. 64GB of internal memory that's still not enough and still need to by a microsd? Meh. Lan for garbage internet service? Meh. "Enchanced audio", which isn't going to be as good as headphones anyway? Meh. The stand? Meh. Any of you (that already have a Switch) big enough suckers to buy this?

Yeah, as someone who also doesn't own a Switch, the decision to even go for this is a little easier. Would've at least liked to have better performance in it. But It's fine I guess.

So this isn't a "pro" version of the Switch with better performance, resolution, etc.?

It's literally just a slightly larger OLED screen that still only does 720p or 1080p docked?

Meh. Although as an owner of the original PS Vita I can say that an OLED screen is great for handheld gaming. I just rarely play my Switch handheld anymore.

The funniest thing about all of this is the lyrics in the trailer saying "the future is now", as Nintendo unveils their ground breaking 1080p upgrade. Too funny.

You have to realize the future to Nintendo is the past to the rest of us.

This is basically Switch ““premium””

it has features that the switch should’ve launched with (specially the 64GB storage) but as a revision, it’s too little too late, and too expensive

I hope this isn't the oft rumored "pro" version. With no performance or output improvements, I have no interest in this.

Is this the same price or slightly higher than the current standard Switch model? I’m out of the loop. I want to get a Switch before too long so this will be the one I get. Will go for the white coloured model.
