On 7/23/21 Code Red Announced they will be releasing "Starflight: The Plane That Couldn't Land" on Blu-Ray March 8th 2022!

also known as Airport '85. Starring Lee Majors (The Six Million Dollar Man) , Hal Linden (Barney Miller), Lauren Hutton (Once Bitten), Ray Milland (Dial M for Murder), Gail Strickland (Dark Shadows) and Tess Harper (Amityville 3-D)

Description: Starflight One, a commercial aircraft that can whisk passengers around the globe in a matter of hours, embarks on its maiden voyage. The trip goes horribly awry, however, when the aircraft is forced out of the atmosphere and into outer space. As it is too dangerous to attempt reentry, Captain Cody Briggs (Lee Majors), his passengers and his crew brave declining levels of oxygen while NASA scientists scramble to launch a rescue mission in a race against time.

Oh yes! A childhood favourite of mine. I have a European DVD of this, but will definitely upgrade. Great news!

Now there's a release that I was not expecting but I'm certainly happy to see coming!

I haven't seen this one since the 80's...looking forward to picking this up and revisiting it after all these years!

This was released in theatres over here. I fondly remember watching it in the local cinema as a kid. I think I may even have the original poster around in a box somewhere.

I don't think I have watched it since the 1980s, so I am not certain it holds up with my memories very well.

You may be thinking of George Kennedy in The Concorde: Airport '79. There was a scene where he did that to divert the missile away from the plane.

Are we sure? Code Red titles tend to get pushed back...and pushed back...and pushed, well, you get the picture. I'm thinking maybe there should've been a sighting, review or unboxing by now.
