Solid movie. I didn't like it as much as Trick R Treat but it's very well done. The sound design is excellent but I'm not a fan of some of the CG when everything else is practical. That always bothers me in movies.

If you like Gremlins style horror, you should like Krampus. I'll upgrade when the price is right.

Interesting, maybe it’s a more violent cut? If it’s a new cut, I’ll definitely be getting it.

I thought the movie was alright but for some weird reason I always find myself revisiting it every holiday season, can't wait to see if this new cut improves on the film.

I like this film, but I always felt like I should've liked it more. I think part of it is that Dougherty just had too many ideas and tried to cram them all into a single film. It worked for Trick R' Treat - partially due to the anthology nature - but here it just seems like there's way too much going on for any one thing (or character) to have a lasting impact.

The more Christmas horror the better. I would kill for Black Christmas (1974) to get a release.

This has become an annual staple in my family along with “Christmas Vacation” to watch on Christmas Eve. I’ll be all over a new cut!

Few things look as wonderful in HDR as Christmas lights - I’ll take all of that ya got!

Very intrigued by the new cut too. I’ve always liked this movie but felt it could be better, and some of that is based on editing. Hmm.

I've only seen it once, in the theater, but I don't remember there being any noticeable CGI in it. That bugs me, too, though.

I'll nab this disc and put it in the German steelbook I have. Very curious to see what's different with the new cut, too.

Like others, I watch this movie every Christmas Eve. It’s a lot of fun, and a new cut has me intrigued for sure.
