This was pretty good except for the white english-speaking actors playing the VIP characters. They were absolutely terrible.

No idea what was up with those 4 actors.
Any subtlety and/or nuance went right out the window.

I've just started to watch this. Really enjoying it so far. A fun variation on Battle Royale.

Netflix does offer an English dub for those who don't like subtitles or are visually impaired.

While I'm sure it's some commentary on rich foreigners, I wish they would have gone with all Koreans. It's the usual with Korean productions though, terrible white actors with terrible English dialogue. Pretty much the only white actors you will find in Korea are going to be third rate. You also have a writer who probably doesn't know English well, who writes lines for them that may have nuance in his head, then gets translated by someone else and any nuance is gone with a straight translation.

Anyways, I really enjoyed the show overall. Had a few issues besides the VIPs, but I forgive most of it. Very strong acting from the main cast, and definitely kept it very interesting all the way through. Can see them making a sequel, which I would definitely watch.

just finished episode titled ''gganbu'', don't know the ep number, just lost in the series at this point and the best thing i've seen in a while. don't even want to get to ending, man... think i'll stop today and pick up the next episode tomorrow.

I'm more wary of dubbed English or dubbed anything. I always choose to watch series and movies in their original language with English subtitles.

I've been watching this too and it was pretty interesting. I still have 2 episodes left, but I'll be finishing those soon.

Wasn't too keen on the first half of the first episode, it felt a bit too slapstick, but now I'm up to episode 3 and I'm getting into it.

Watched up to E4. Not too impressed with the show.

It was curiosity that got me started but it has waned long time ago. Maybe in the 2nd half something magical happens...

Overall though I found it enjoyable and even great at times. Obviously share the opinions regarding the VIP acting fail. Definitely something lost in translation as another member previously posted.
