Default Durabis being used on movies, games or media?

does any one have info on this, i dont own anything blu-ray right now, but i'm curious if durabis is being employed or not. cant seem to find infos about its current use.

The protective layer BD doesn't have to be Durabis. You must use some sort of layer but studios are free to choose what makes the most sense to them.

Either Durabis or some sort of Durabis equivalent will be used on discs. Have peace of mind that in any event, your BD ought to be more durable than its DVD or HD DVD counterpart.

All BD discs employ a hard coating on their read/write surface. Durabis is just TDK’s flavor for its BD-R/RE media.
