Lionsgate will be releasing Dream a Little Dream on Blu-ray on March 15th. There is no official indication that it'll be a Vestron Video title yet, but I have to assume it will be since it was originally distributed by Vestron Pictures.

Ha, nice! Now all we need are The Lost Boys and License to Drive (with all the DVD extras) on 4K discs and Blown Away and Dream a Little Dream 2 on blu and we're set. Never saw National Lampoon's Last Resort or Busted (looks awful!).

I'm literally begging for a 4K The Lost Boys! Peak Corey Haim! But this is a great addition to Vestron, proving they can run with not only horror but comedy-drama too. I like this. Preorder for me for sure. I wish they had License to Drive...

Yes! I have been hoping this would get a release. The is a completely wonderful absolutely confusing mess of a movie and I love every second of it. Of all the 80s body switch movies this one of easily the best. The opening where they are cutting up their jeans up and putting crazy amounts of mousse in their hair, that's 100% 1989 perfectly captured. Feldman's dance in the gym, Meredith Salenger, the "dream" sequences, the entire soundtrack, Feldman's awesome haircut in this movie... just perfect. Day one purchase.

Are you referring to my post, or something else? I just mentioned that there's nothing official yet that states Vestron, but I speculate that it will be one.

Yes. Are you assuming that this will be released through Lionsgate or some other line of Vestron? Or am I confused?

It's definitely coming from Lionsgate, but when I first made the thread, I assumed this was just a rare non-Vestron catalog release from them like L.A. Story. When I noticed it was distributed by Vestron Pictures, then I presumed it will be part of that line and added that to the title. So "officially" there's no confirmation either way yet, but I strongly suspect it will be a Vestron Video title. Hopefully that doesn't confuse things more

It should all be clarified once we see some cover art, or a retailer actually mentions Vestron Video

Day one for me! Hope we get a good amount of extras and get new interviews with Corey and Meredith. Hope this paves the way for Blown Away as I love to see What Nicole thinks of the film all these years later lol

Another take on Like Father, Like Son and Vice Versa. Never heard of this one but with a cast like that I'll grab this, even if it's Vestron

Sigh. I'll just have to get resigned to the fact that Vestron won't just be for cult horror titles.

enough that I think she had made some sort of agreement to get the unrated version apparently banned from the U.S. already back in VHS days for all future (post the original VHS) U.S. releases (although the studio accidentally(?) put the unrated version on the R rated DVD when that finally came out)

despite it's infamy and the type of film it seemed like it would be, it's actually a rather good dark mystery type film

Where did you read she banned the unrated cut? I have the dvd since it’s release on dvd as it got put out same day as DALD. I remember watching it on dvd and being blown away (no pun intended) it was UNRATED. I still have my dvd copy on mint condition but I want to upgrade to HD with extras.

You can easily tell if it’s the unrated cut if when Haim and with Nicole and about to go down she tells him to rip it and we see it. If not it’s RATED.

The version I watched had her naked breasts and Corey Haim's naked perfect butt. Was this the Rated-R version?
