It will be interesting to see if Yogi Bear comes from Warner Archive or Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. But I'm sure it's coming eventually.

I'm hoping for Valley of the Dinosaurs.

Some very fine animation. The DVD is okay . . .

. . . but a blu-ray would be better still.

In addition to their justly celebrated Tom & Jerry cartoons, Bill and Joe made a number of interesting one-shots at MGM as well. It would be nice to see these get some love from the Archive, too!

The three Scooby-Doo TV films from the 80s are in serious need of an upgrade. The DVDs look horrendous.

They need to do ALL of the Super-Friends in one collection. 'Nuff Said.

If they did it in one/two Blu sets, I might double dip on those. What they really need to do is figure out who has the rights to the Shazam cartoon and get that in a legit release!

Warner Archive previously labeled several Ruby-Spears shows (inaccurately) as Hanna-Barbera series for their DVD releases. Regardless, Blu-ray upgrades to those series, such as the one Thundarr has already received, would also be welcome, and my candidates would be:

Plastic Man (including season 2, which never fully made it to DVD)
Robo Force (pilot episode included on one of the Gobots DVDs)
Centurions
Superman (1988)

This is like the most "no, duh" thread ever! I'm embarrassed I didn't think of putting it up first! Thank you for getting this one going!

I'm wondering if we'll see more sequel films and series released to the originals we've already seen released? Will there be more Scooby Doo, Johnny Quest or Jetsons on blu-ray? I'd love to retire all of my H-B DVD's.

I'm not sure what the rights issues are for Fantastic Four since Disney owns the overall property. My guess is we'll never see this show officially again, but I want to be wrong! A lot of the other titles on your list I bet we'll see sooner or later.

Yeah, that just feels like one of the most likely next releases. I agree, I could see it go either way between WAC and WHE. I was a little surprised to see WAC release Jetsons.

YES! This is what they should do after they finish the Tex Avery collection!

I think Sony actually owns Godzilla. As memory serves me, they were the ones that released the show on DVD a decadeish ago.

As I finally just bought the Australian DVD's (which was NOT cheep!), part of me would be a little sad if they then turned around and put The Smurfs out on blu-ray here in the US. That said, it still needs to happen! I would LOVE Pirates of Dark Water on blu-ray, and with Thundarr and Hurculoids on blu-ray, I don't see what this couldn't happen. WAG would make my day if they finished the story with a direct to video film.

Yup! I tend to separate them myself in my collection, however I understand why WAC doesn't.

.
That was from Classic Media and distributed by Sony at the time. Universal owns Classic Media now but claims they don't have rights for the HB Godzilla. Toho still owns the show in Japan but I've no idea if anyone still owns it elsewhere.

Either way, the point is Warner can't just put it out there themselves. There are a few H-B shows like that.
