In brief: looks pretty soft but very filmic. Color timing seems to be more accuarate.

I compared digital 4K to BD. Noise also looks more eye-friendly to me (it’s still there but not so eye-catching).

Overall look of Marnie is much softer than Birds so perhaps you will find it less distracting.

This is the one of the new Hitchcock batch that took the most restoration. Allegedly, they spent most of their nickels on Marnie because the elements were in such pitiful shape.

This is the one I'm looking forward to the most, precisely because it has the most to gain. Hopefully.
