Default TO BE TWENTY (Avoir vingt ans) - new release from Artus Films (6/1/2021)

Artus Films released this about a year ago, and I noticed there are no posts in regards to this. Doing a little bit of research, it appears that they use seamless branching with the longer Director's Cut, using the remastered 1080p Producer's Cut while inserting standard definition extended scenes (which, going by the first screen cap, looks even worse than the standard definition DVD Raro Video released in the US with their set).

Here is the review (you can use Google translate to convert to English):

I don't know how I feel about this. I'm guessing the extra material is lost to the ages?

Someone posted a clip of this movie on insta and I thought it seemed like I need to have it, never heard of it but I know of the beauty that is Gloria Guida.
This French Bluray is super expensive and the only one that seems cheaply available is the Italian Raro Video DVD. Aside from the bad branching job you describe, would you know which version would be the best, both as BD and DVD?
