That's cool. I have all 3, but I was holding off on them until I have a PS5, which I'm cautiously hoping will be in the Fall.

I replayed 7 when I got the ps5, and was about to replay 2 soon, but now I’ll wait for the upgrades to replay all 3

Since these are already 60 on ps4, we’ll probably get native 4k/60fps and 1080p/120fps

also these games had this thing where you and close enemies are 60fps, but enemies in the distance are in slow motion basically, which looked bad (7’s enemies spawn when you’re close, so it wasn’t an issue) so hopefully it won’t be needed here

Really excited for this, 7 and RE2 were highlights of last gen

I have RE2 on the Xbox side of things so this is welcome news, though I own these on PC and have played them all to death so I'm not sure I'll revisit them anytime soon.

But I am so very ready for the RE4 remake. Boy am I ever ready for that.

That's good to hear for fans of the series.

I played the demo versions, but couldn't get back into the series at the moment. Improved controls thankfully, and will look great in 4K I bet.

Big companies like Capsule Computers and even Ubisoft, have been offering free upgrades of PS4 games to PS5 quality 4K visuals and frame rates without charging everyone $10 extra for it.

Sony, please take notes.

Plus RE8 you'll be able to play after RE7.

RE7 is a grueling horror experience in first person. I imagine the same for RE8 which I haven't played yet.

Yeah I heard it's more scarier than RE 8 especially the VR version more horror where as 8 is more action oriented. I had my doubts about RE moving to First Person then when RE 8 came out I needed a new game to play so I decided what the hell and played it and was blown away how good it was.

If Capsule Computers (Capcom) upgraded RE7's VR to PSVR2, that would be welcome to get rid of the jagged edges of objects further back in the view in PSVR1.

I would hope PSVR2 would get VR for RE8. That would be great.

You are right. I have the PSVR1 RE7 (also plays the regular 2D version) and the intensity of being inside this hell house of horror goes through the roof in terms of a very tense horror experience the first time going through it, thanks to that relentless father in the house.

You're just walking down the hall, and then suddenly something happens that's bad and it's so much more real in Virtual Reality, with the stereo 3D world surrounding you at every angle, even beneath you. It feels like you're inside the video game. Crazy stuff.

That's cool you were able to play RE8.

Available now according to Capcom's show just before. Free PS5 upgrades. Cool, thanks.

In the future, RE8 will get a 3rd person view added in.
