Default Onkyo 605-ps3/x360

Will I be set for a couple of years at least with a new Onkyo and my ps3 and 360 hookeds up to it via hdmi? I planning on buying the receiver this weekend but just dont want to have to upgrade it in a couple of years. I'm a realtor so saving money now is key with the lack of buyers/sellers out there. Thanks.

if you can swing it, go for the 705. has more/better features including auto setup for your speakers

I agree that the 705 has some extra features, but the 605 does include the audessy automatic speaker setup as well.

The 605 will get you by for a couple of years. The 705 will get you by for a couple of MORE years beyond that. So, spend a little now to save a lot later.
