Deciding between the S760H or Rxv6a?

Figured I'd ask here since I'd assume people are knowledgeable here.

I'm stuck between 2 receivers currently, the cheaper S760H or slightly more Rxv6a but am definitely open to others if a proper suggestion is given.

Doing renovations so figured I'd spruce one of my rooms up for entertainment. Appreciate input in advance.

My budget is about 900ish so I can go slightly above those if needed.

It isn't a giant room, so I don't need 11 channel or anything. I need something just decently powerful, nothing too crazy. I would also like a receiver that has useful features like room optimization but i think both of these have it. I read a bunch of reviews, but I'm still not sure. For example, I thought about the Yamaha RX V6A because it seems feature-rich and not too expensive.

But this review mentioned that the s760h works for all rooms and is also cheaper, so I'm not sure.

Or should I go with something else?

I also heard there might be new ones this year so should I just wait for those instead if that's true?

Like I said I'm not beholden to just these 2, just kind narrowed it down to these, but am open to other suggestions too.
