IFC Films will be releasing the 2022 thriller Watcher on Blu-ray on October 4th. I saw this in theater, and thought It was really great. Excellent atmosphere, and strong performance from the lead actress.

Easy day one! Actually saw this one in the theatre.

It doesn't reinvent the wheel but it is creepy and of course, Maika is fantastic in the role.

Saw this in an empty theater and it really added to the isolation of the character.

Every time someone bumps this thread I misread it as Watchers the '80s movie and get excited for 2 seconds.

But this movie is pretty good too.

Movie deserves a better release. Thought it was fantastic. Here’s hoping someone like Second Sight gives it love like they did for Swallow, Revenge, other smaller, independent films.

Watcher is not a film I knew about until reading about it on here (it sounds very good). Really liked It Follows and thought Maika Monroe was very good in her role. Like yourself, I've been hoping that a UK boutique label (ideally Second Sight Films) will do an eventual UK Blu-ray release.

Watched the Blu tonight. Fantastic transfer by IFC.

This movie is still so great and is a great candidate to watch alone in your dark living room. I kept looking out the window next to my couch because the films tension makes you think you are being watched too. Maika nails this role, I wish she would finally get the recognition she deserves.
