Default Across The Universe at Target

Went to my local Target yesterday and saw this was on the shelf. It was one I was definatly going to buy tomorrow, so I picked it up early. Plan on watching it today. Saw it in the theatre, cant wait to see and hear it on Blu.

I visited my local Target on Saturday to search for this title, but it was not available.

Since I have next to no time to actually sit down and watch, I'll likely order this from DeepDiscountDVD along with RunLolaRun and a third title.

ACTUALLY Target has a new security system that doesnt allow street dated material to be sold before date. And to prove I am correct on this movie, I tried buying it after the store closed tonight (I work there) and it wouldnt let me do it.

I saw it at the Target near me too. I won't buy a BR from Target though. Ever single BR is $29.99 or more! I would rather go to Fry's or Best Buy, where there is at least a chance of a sale.

Walmart makes huge release date mistakes (I work for a CD vending company called REPS and I work AT not FOR Walmart.) But my point is, today I go in to set up for the new cd releases tomorrow and what do I see? The new S Crow CD out. The incompetant Walmart workers never do anything right. The box with new release movies, games, and cds say on a BIG orange sticker, DO NOT RELEASE UNTIL FEBRUARY 5th 2008. I usually go to target because I hate buying things from the Walmart because I honestly hate Walmart, but I have never seen Target put new releases out early

yeah, i suppose theres ways to get around it by typing in a generic item number and typing in a price. but that's completley against company policy and will screw up inventory and would result in an instant termination. But other than that theres no way to buy it before date

Lucky Bastards! You should still feel good because here in Canada, all the new release titles are at or above $30.

I visited my local Walmart yesterday to search for this title. They had a space dedicated but it was empty. It was priced @ $24.96.
